1. OUR WATCH REPAIR SERVICE:
Here at The Watches4U we can offer a repair service for most brands of watch using our very own repairer, who has over 30 years experience. All repairs undertaken use authentic parts and come with a 12 month guarantee. Our own watch repair service offers excellent value for money and is a quicker and less expensive alternative to having the watch repaired by the manufacturer. There is a fee of £10.00 for all estimates. If you choose to proceed with the work then this amount is deducted from the total price. If you choose not to proceed with the estimate, this fee is non-refundable as it covers our administration and postage costs. After any repair we will keep the watch on test prior to returning it to you to ensure that any work carried out meets our high standards.

REPAIR TIMES:
When we receive your watch we will inform you and confirm the price of the work needed by email or phone. You will then need to contact us to confirm that you wish to proceed with the repair and to pay any outstanding balance. Please allow up to 4 weeks for the return of your watch. We will inform you as soon as possible if there will be any delays due to parts being temporarily unavailable. If you do wish to chase up your repair then please wait for the four weeks to pass.
REPAIR PRICES:
Please see the price lists for a guide to the costs of standard repair work. We do ask that you contact us, via email or phone, prior to sending your watch into us for repair (see below for our contact details). All watches sent in for a repair must be accompanied with a cheque, payable to M M Matraci & Co Ltd, for either the estimate fee or the full amount of the repair if it has a set price (if you would rather pay by debit or credit card then please phone us to make payment). All prices include post and packing back to you via Royal Mail Recorded or Special Delivery, so a signature will be needed upon delivery. If you choose to proceed with an estimate then this amount is deducted from the price of the repair and the balance must be paid prior to the work being undertaken. If, after sending your watch to us for an estimate, you decide not to proceed with the repair then the estimate fee is non-refundable as this covers our administration and postage costs.
HOW TO SEND A WATCH TO US FOR REPAIR:
Please note we only deal with manufacturer repairs for the brands listed, however our own watch repairer is able to repair most makes of watch, so feel free to contact us via email or phone with your query.
Before sending your watch in to us, please email us, to repairs@watches4u.com, with a description of the fault so we can give you a more exact quotation. Alternatively you can call us on 1-212-586-7000 and ask for the Repairs Department. Please note there is a fee for any watch requiring an estimate and this payment must be sent in with the watch, in the form of a cheque or postal order payable to 'MM MATRACI & Co Ltd' . Alternatively, if you would prefer to pay the fee by debit or credit card then please contact us prior to sending in your watch and we will be able to arrange payment. All work must be paid for in full before we can proceed with any repair.
Once you have contacted us and we have advised you on your repair then we will email you a repair form in full and send it to us with your watch and the necessary payment to:

Please make all cheques and postal orders payable to `MM MATRACI & Co Ltd'.
We recommend that you send the parcel to us via a traceable and insured service such as Royal Mail Special Delivery.
If you do send your watch to us without payment then we will contact you to take the necessary payment. Should you then decide that you do not want us to process your repair and want us to return your watch, then a £10.00 administration and postage fee is payable before we can return your watch to you. |
